Can I use a TV with Dolby Surround Sound with the Phonak TV Connector?

Using the optical Toslink cable to your TV, the audio signal may be in Dolby or DTS format. The TV Connector can receive and transmit audio in mono, stereo or Dolby. Please make sure that no DTS / DTS:X / Atmos audio settings are used by the TV or audio device. If present, the incompatible signals will be indicated by a blinking red LED indicator light on the TV Connector. If this occurs, change the audio signal to stereo (PCM) or Dolby in the audio settings menu of the TV.
