Why is my Phonak hearing aid no longer switching on automatically after being removed from the charger?

The hearing aid does not switch on automatically after being removed from the charger. I have to use the button on the hearing aid to turn it on.
  1. Ensure that the Auto-On feature is activated:
  • Open the myPhonak app.
  • Tap on 'Devices'.
  • Tap on 'Auto-on.'
  • If Auto-on is disabled, enable it by moving the slider from left to right.

  1. Check the Charger:

This point relates to the "Go Chargers". If the internal battery of the charger is discharged (indicated by a red LED on the charger) and the charger is not connected to a power supply, Auto-On will not work. Ensure that the internal battery of the charger is adequately charged.

  1. Reboot Your Hearing Aids:

Sometimes, a quick reboot can help restore normal operation of your devices. This will not remove or delete any programs or settings.

Reboot Instructions for Phonak Infinio Hearing Aids:

Press the push button for at least 15 seconds. It does not matter if the hearing aid is switched on or off before you start pressing the button. After 15 seconds, the indicator light on the hearing aid will blink green and then turn solid green. The hearing aid is ready to use.

Reboot Instructions for Other Phonak Rechargeable Hearing Aids:

Press the lower part of the button for at least 15 seconds. It does not matter if the hearing aid is switched on or off before you start pressing the button. There will be no light or acoustic notification at the end of the 15 seconds. Next, place the hearing aid in the power-connected charger and wait until the indicator light blinks green. This can take up to 30 seconds. The hearing aid is now ready to use.
