Why can’t I take phones calls directly on my Virto R Infinio hearing aids?

If you have Virto R Infinio hearing aids, ensure that you haven't unintentionally disabled “Bluetooth streaming” in the settings of the myPhonak app.

To check if the Bluetooth streaming function is enabled in myPhonak: 

  1. Go to ‘’Devices’’ 
  2. Select ‘’Streaming via Bluetooth’’ 
  3. If the Bluetooth streaming toggle is off (greyed out) tap it to turn it on (make green) 

 

 

NOTE: If your hearing care professional has disabled hands-free calls during your fitting for use in high-security environments, such as SCIF, you won’t be able to receive calls directly through your hearing aids. However, if you no longer need to wear your hearing aids in these high-security settings, reach out to your hearing care professional to enable hands-free calls again.
