SpeechSensor is an algorithm that detects the direction from which the main speech signal is coming from. The real life benefit means you can understand speech 15% better when speech is from the side/rear in addition to 11% reduced listening effort.*¹
The information captured by the SpeechSensor is sent to AutoSense OS 5.0 which automatically adjusts the directional microphone mode depending on if speech is coming from L/R or behind.
New features include SpeechSensor, Speech Enhancer, StereoZoom 2.0, Dynamic Noise Cancellation, and Motion Sensor Hearing.

StereoZoom 2.0 is smoother, smarter and stronger. This unique binaural directional beamforming technology ensures a smooth transition between the wider directional mode of UltraZoom and the narrower focus of StereoZoom 2.0.
StereoZoom 2.0 intelligently adapts the strength of focus as the level of noise increases. The result is 3 dB better SNR.*
Trying to focus on a conversation in a noisy place when you are tired can be draining. You can enjoy 16% better speech understanding when having a conversation with a friend or loved one in challenging social environments.**1
With Lumity and StereoZoom 2.0 you are able to adjust the focus strength of StereoZoom 2.0, to your preference and in real time via the Speech Focus slider in myPhonak app. This extra focus can lead to 2.5 dB better SNR.***

Roger technology provides better speech understanding in noisy environments by keeping the speakers’ voices above the noise.
It measures the surrounding noise level and adapts the microphone’s volume automatically. If the noise level increases, Roger adjusts accordingly, handling the fluctuating noise levels found in everyday environments.
Anywhere you’d have conversations with co-workers, family, or friends. You could use it at school to hear both teachers and classmates. You could also use it in social activities with background noise, like at a restaurant, museum, or shopping mall.
Universal connectivity has opened new worlds for people living with hearing loss, and with Paradise you can now have two active Bluetooth connections at the same time. They can connect to smartphones and other Bluetooth® devices, stream recorded music directly to their hearing aids, make calls and stream video chats or movies. Only Phonak offers made for all connectivity. What sets Paradise apart:
of health care providers agree that Phonak Paradise delivers crisp, natural sound⁴
of participants show clear preference for speech intelligibility when Speech Enhancer is active⁴
of HCPs would recommend Phonak Paradise to their peers⁴
The Processing Real-time Intelligent Sound Management (PRISM) chip features double the memory and more connectivity possibilities with low power consumption.
Ultra-low power motion tri-axial accelerometer supports new ease-of-use and hearing performance features. The sensor has an industry-leading balance of high performance and low power consumption.
RogerDirect™ is a break-through in hearing technology which allows Roger technology to stream directly to Lumity, Paradise and Marvel hearing aids without having to attach an external receiver. This major innovation makes Roger technology easier to use and more attractive to a broader group of people. Roger technology is intelligent and adaptive, and continuously measures and precisely analyzes noise levels to keep the Roger signal clearly audible above background noise.

Motion and heart rate sensor track the body’s health data and can be viewed with the myPhonak app.
The motion sensor tracks physical activities without additional devices and is now able to count the total number of detected steps based on the accelerometer signal.
Audéo Fit tracks heart rate, which can be viewed with the myPhonak app. The method used to track the heart rate is called “Photoplethysmography” (PPG).
On-demand heart rate, which will be calculated every four seconds, is a temporal overview of the heart rate on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis, as well as the resting heart rate.
During regular exercises and usual activities throughout the day, Audéo Fit and all Paradise rechargeable hearing aids track physical activities as well as the wearing time of the hearing aids. Tracking health data can encourage increased engagement with the option to set goals. 1,2

This system is designed to ensure that your clients have an optimal listening experience in different situations, to support the variety of their communication needs and lifestyle.
The Dynamic Noise Cancellation System works in combination with a directional beamformer for an improved listening experience. Meanwhile the Motion Sensor Hearing detects if the user is stationary or moving, plus how noisy the surroundings are. In quiet situations it helps augment the peaks of speech for an improved listening experience.
It is ideal for use in situations where noise levels can be challenging, such as in social gatherings, walking and listening, and consuming media or with friends.
Our proprietary fitting formula, Adaptive Phonak Digital (APD) 2.0 is designed to balance audibility, loudness, and sound quality.
A new processing algorithm and pre-calculation provide comfortable, spontaneous first-fit acceptance. From soft to loud sounds, APD 2.0 provides clients with a naturalness of sound.
APD 2.0 is designed for use in everyday situations in which there may be audio challenges.
