Why can’t I take phones calls directly on Infinio Ultra and newer hearing aids?

If you have Infinio Ultra or later hearing aids, ensure that you haven't unintentionally disabled “Bluetooth streaming” in the settings of the myPhonak app.

How can I disable Bluetooth® streaming on Infinio Ultra and newer hearing aids?

For Infinio Ultra and newer hearing aids, calls and media streaming can be disabled in the myPhonak app settings.

What hearing aid should be selected from the list on the mobile phone?

Phonak hearing aids use multiple applications of Bluetooth® for mobile devices (Bluetooth Classic Audio for hands-free calls and streaming audio, and Bluetooth Low Energy for connecting to myPhonak. Depending on the model of your hearing aids and whether you are using one or two devices, you may see up to three Phonak hearing aids listed in your Bluetooth menu.

Sometimes a connection to the hearing aids cannot be established after an app update, an OS update of the smartphone, or when the fitting of the hearing aids has changed.
