The innovative Sky M was designed and engineered to provide pediatric wearers the best hearing solution possible for optimal speech and language development as well as speech intelligibility and ease of use. It offers the first operating system designed for children, 24 percent better speech understanding in noise¹, maximum access to all speech sounds, and a powerful rechargeable battery that lasts all day . Phonak today announces its Marvel hearing aid solution has won a Gold Stevie Award and was named Innovation of the Year – Consumer Products Industries in the 2019 International Business Awards. According to comments obtained from judges, the multifunctional hearing solution received top honors for being the world’s first hearing aid to combine universal Bluetooth connectivity, lithium-ion rechargeability, and top-rated sound quality into a single device. The Gold Stevie marks the fourth major product honor awarded to Phonak Marvel this year, placing it among the company’s most highly-awarded products ever.

Angela Pelosi appointed Director of Global Audiology at Phonak

As of July 1st, 2019, Angela Pelosi has been appointed the position of Director of Global Audiology at Phonak. Angela brings over 20 years of experience in Audiology, specializing in the clinical fields of pediatrics, adults with complex hearing losses, clinical development and training. Over the past 15 years at Sonova, she has led Audiology, Sales and Marketing teams at Phonak Australia and Unitron, driven FM/Roger business development, and most recently led the Pediatric, Power and BTE category groups.
