What do the notification sounds I hear in my hearing aid mean?

Phonak hearing aids play various tones and alerts to notify you about events such as program changes, volume adjustments, low battery warnings, and other hearing aid status updates.

Phonak Hearing Aid Tone – Automatic Program

This tone is played when the hearing aid switches to the Automatic Program.

 

Phonak Hearing Aid Alert – Low Battery

This alert is played when the hearing aid battery level falls below approximately 10%.

 

Phonak Hearing Aid Alert – Connection Lost

This alert indicates that the connection between the hearing aids has been lost. This may occur if one hearing aid is switched off or temporarily out of range.

 

Phonak Hearing Aid Tone – Streaming Device Available. 

This tone indicates that a compatible streaming device in pairing mode has been detected nearby.
