Why won't my rechargeable Phonak hearing aids turn on?

Phonak hearing aid will not turn on after being removed from the charger. There is no startup green light blinking, indicator LED light is off, and there is no sound from the hearing aid.
Possible causes and troubleshooting:
  • Auto-on feature settings. If Auto-on feature is disabled, your hearing aids won't switch on automatically once removed from the charger. To turn the hearing aids on manually, press and hold the lower part of the hearing aid button for 3 seconds until the indicator light blinks green.

  • Hearing aid is completely discharged. Hearing aids were not charging because charger was not correctly connected to power supply or hearing aids were not inserted properly into the charger. Place the rechargeable hearing aid in the power-connected charger and wait three hours regardless of LED behavior.
