Unpairing Android mobile device and Phonak hearing aid
To unpair your Phonak hearing aids from your Android mobile device:
- From the phone home screen, touch the 'Applications' tab on the bottom of the screen.
- Touch 'Settings'.
- Touch 'Wireless & Networks'.
- Touch 'Bluetooth Settings'.
- A list of paired devices will appear on the screen. Touch and hold on the name of your Phonak hearing aids.
- A pop-up menu will appear, touch 'Unpair'.
The pairing has now been deleted from your phone, the Phonak hearing aids will no longer receive calls from this phone.
To re-pair your Phonak hearing aids to your Android mobile device:
- Go to the Android phone’s home screen and touch on the 'Settings' icon.
- In the settings menu, touch on the 'Bluetooth' icon.
- Touch the slider button to turn Bluetooth on.
- First open for 5 seconds and then close the battery doors, or switch the hearing aids off and on again, if you have rechargeable Phonak hearing aids.
- On the Android phone you will now see a message 'Available Devices'.
- The name of your Phonak hearing aids will appear on the screen with a telephone icon next to it. Touch on it to select.
- A connection beep will be heard in the paired hearing aid.
Your Android phone is now connected to your Phonak hearing aids.
