How to transfer a call from Phonak hearing aids to the Android smartphone?

Android phones: Transfering a call from the Phonak hearing aids

It is possible to switch between call on the mobile phone, and direct wireless call to the Phonak hearing aids. For example, you answered the call directly through your Phonak hearing aids and want to pass on your phone to another person later. We call it "Transfer Call". This is how to transfer a call:

During the call- take the phone
Open the phone application screen (which is active during the call)
Look for the Bluetooth symbol and touch it to enable or disable the transmission to your hearing aids
Make sure to disable the symbol before handing over the phone to the other person

It is important that you do not switch off Bluetooth completely- but only the Bluetooth symbol in the phone application.
