Why does the myPhonak app display incorrect values for Steps or Wearing time?

The Health section shows values for Steps or Heart rate at wrong times/during the night
myPhonak synchronizes the data and time with the hearing aids several times throughout the day. Hearing aids are designed to save energy whenever possible, therefore, they rely on the app to synchronize time at least once per day. This should happen automatically in the background together with synchronizing the data on app and device. In case there are issues, please make sure that the Bluetooth® settings and app permissions are set correctly and Bluetooth is not switched off. 
In case the issue persists or if Bluetooth is turned off, a daily manual synchronization (swiping down the health screen) is sufficient and will make sure data is reported correctly.
