How does Calories tracking work in the myPhonak app?

Calories tracking
Hearing aid users can track their active and passive calories burned via the myPhonak app. Active calories are burned through physical activity tracked via the accelerometer (motion sensor) of the hearing aid. Passive calories are based on a user's basal metabolic rate (BMR) and are burned to maintain bodily functions, for example, while sitting or sleeping.
The BMR is calculated based on a user's height, weight, age and gender. The app will ask to share this data to be able to track calories. Like this user's Health Profile is created, which can be edited or deleted in the app Health preferences section.
If users don't wish to create their Health Profile, they won't be able to track calories.
