What does a Lyric subscription cover?
A subscription covers one year of Lyric hearing, which includes replacement Lyric devices and servicing throughout the year period. With Lyric, there are no repairs or battery replacements and you will receive technology updates as they become available. Each Lyric device lasts for months at a time.* When you need a new Lyric, you will visit your provider for a replacement device.
Can I purchase Lyric without a subscription?
No, this is not possible. Lyric is only sold by yearly subscription.
How do I get help with my Lyric if I am out of town?
If you are traveling and need help, you can visit any Certified Lyric Provider in countries where service is available. The provider may charge a small fee for their services.
You can also speak with your Lyric provider about self-replacement. Your Hearing Care Professional will assess whether this option is sutiable for you. If so, they will train you to replace Lyric by yourself.
Do I have to return to my Certified Lyric Provider each time I want a new device?
Yes, you should always return to your provider for device replacement. Fortunately, these visits are typically fairly short. You can also reduce the frequency of visits with self-replacement. This option is not available for everyone, but after being trained by your provider you will be able to replace Lyric by yourself.
Cost
Lyric is sold through Certified Lyric Providers on a subscription basis. The cost of a subscription will depend on where you live. Unlike regular hearing aids which need to be replaced when outdated, Lyric’s yearly subscription provides you with new devices on a regular basis. There is also the opportunity to try Lyric risk free for 30 days.
