If a call is received while streaming from a Phonak TV Connector, the audio stream will be momentarily interrupted and the call ringtone will be heard in the Phonak Audéo B-Direct Bluetooth wireless hearing aids. The call can be answered normally. Once the call has ended, the audio stream from the TV Connector will resume, provided the television is on and you are within range of the TV Connector.
Then using the optical Toslink cable to your TV, the audio signal may be in Dolby or DTS format, which are not understood by the Phonak TV Connector.
The TV Connector can receive and transmit audio in mono or stereo. Please make sure that no Dolby digital or DTS audio settings are used by the TV or audio device.
If present, these audio signals will be indicated by a blinking red LED indicator light on the TV Connector. If this occurs, change the audio signal to stereo (PCM) in the audio settings menu of the TV.
