How to replace the battery on Phonak non-rechargeable hearing aids?

Phonak non-rechargeable hearing aids are powered by zinc-air batteries.
  1. Remove the sticker from the new battery and wait 2 minutes.

  1. Open the battery door.

  1. Place battery in the battery door with the flat side facing upwards.

If it is difficult to close the battery door: check that the battery is inserted correctly and that the flat side is facing upwards. If the battery is not inserted correctly, the hearing aid will not work and the battery door can be damaged. The flat side is marked with a “+” symbol either on the sticker or on the battery.
