If a user's hearing aids support Health features like distance and calories, some personal data is needed to be able to track these features accurately.
Height and gender are used to accurately calculate distance walked and run. Height, weight, gender and age are used to calculate a user's basal metabolic rate (BMR), which is necesary to calculate calories burned.
Sharing this data is optional. User data is saved securely in the cloud (via myPhonak account). Sonova cannot access any Health Profile data or Health data without a consent.
