RogerDirect for Phonak hearing aids

RogerDirect allows Roger microphones to stream directly to the hearing aids. After a simple installation of the receiver into the hearing aid, clients benefit from the proven performance of Roger, in noise and over distance, without attaching an external receiver. This major innovation makes Roger technology easier to use.

With the introduction of Roger Unlimited, we simplify even more the installation and uninstallation of receivers. All Roger microphones have unlimited built-in receivers to be setup via RogerDirect, meaning:

  • No time lost to install receivers
  • No need to uninstall receivers
  • No need for iN microphone

Roger design-integrated receivers

Roger design-integrated receivers are compatible with selected cochlear implants from Cochlear, MED-EL, and Advanced Bionics and available in matching colors.

An extremely versatile universal receiver that is compatible with any hearing aid or cochlear implant with a T-coil.

Frequently asked questions

RogerDirect allows Roger microphones to stream directly to your hearing device (equipped with RogerDirect).

After a simple installation of the Roger receiver, you will benefit from the proven performance of Roger technology, in noise and over distance, without attaching an external receiver.

Installation of a Roger receiver into a hearing device can be done using either: 

· a third generation Roger microphone with unlimited Roger receivers.  

· the Roger X and the Roger Installer or 

· one of the Roger iN microphones 

· Remove the third questions since everyone can now install Roger 

The HCP (Hearing Care Professional), School Audiologist, School Personnel can use the Roger Installer to check.

1. Full: The indicator light on the top of the Roger Installer will have GREEN LIGHT indicating Roger receiver is inside the Roger X.

2. Empty: The indicator light on the top of the Roger Installer will not have light.

No. Once installed in one Phonak hearing aid, the Roger X is empty.

Make sure the app is connected to the hearing aids.

1. Select 'MyPrograms' in the list.

2. Select 'MyRoger' in the list

3. Roger installation status for left and right hearing aids will be displayed.

Roger iN microphones are dedicated Roger microphones that have the capability to install two Roger receivers into a pair of Phonak hearing devices with RogerDirect. If you are unsure what hearing aids you have, please look in your hearing aid app or contact your audiologist.

Yes. The Roger iN microphone must have at least one empty slot.

The HCP will use a Phonak tool to check the indicator light status: one RED indicator means at least 1 empty slot.
