myPhonak app: Frequency of health data values updates

The health home screen (dashboard) displays real time values that are updated every few seconds when the user has the screen open. The values in the detailed health feature views (screens with graphs) are updated at certain intervals.

Steps

  • Live steps and distance are updated every few seconds.
  • Steps in the chart and Activity Levels are updated when the user navigates between app screens or between time interval (Daily /Weekly/Monthly/ Yearly view) or by simply swiping down the screen (manual synchronization).
  • Activity Levels are updated every 60 seconds in the Daily steps screen.


Wearing time

  • Current Wearing time is updated every minute.
  • Wearing time in chart is updated every time the hearing aid is synchronized (either automatically in the background or manually, by swiping down the Health or Wearing time screen) and when user navigates between app screens or changes time interval (e.g., Daily/ Weekly/Monthly/ Yearly view).
  • Time in different sound environments can be updated every 60 minutes by simply swiping down the screen (manual synchronization).


Heart rate

  • Live heart rate is updated every few seconds.
  • Heart rate reading is updated approximately every 10 minutes.
  • Charts are updated approximately every 10 minutes automatically or by manual snychronization.
  • Resting Heart rate is calculated when sufficient measurement conditions are met and will be displayed when available (1 value per day). The conditions are usually fulfilled after 4 hours. If the user is very active it can take longer. If insufficient measurement conditions are met, then no new Resting heart is shown.

         Note: shown Resting Heart rate value can change throughout the day.

Calories

  • Current Calories are updated every minute.
  • Calories in chart are updated when the user navigates between app screens or between time intervals (Daily /Weekly/Monthly/ Yearly view) or by simply swiping down the screen (manual synchronization).
