Why do I see the notification “Connection Management” on my Android smartphone?

This message appears on Android devices running myPhonak version 6.3.0 or later when the hearing aids are connected to the app. It is a requirement of the Android operating system to notify users about the connection.

To turn off notifications for the myPhonak app, follow these steps: 

1. Open the Settings app on your device. 
2. Select Notifications > App notifications. 
3. Under "Most recent," you'll see apps that have recently sent notifications. To view more apps, use the dropdown menu and select All apps. 
4. Locate and tap on the myPhonak app. 
5. Switch off notifications for the myPhonak app. 

If you don’t see “Recently sent,” your device may be running an older Android version. Instead, go to App notifications and select the desired app.
