“My name is Don Gulock and I am 81 years old. As a result of an acoustic neuroma, I have a complete loss of hearing in one ear.

I suffered from single-sided deafness for 25 years. As I got older, I developed a hearing loss in my other ear. My first hearing device was an in the ear solution. In 2008, I was introduced to the bone anchored hearing device but for several reasons was not able to benefit from it.

Recently I was fitted with a Phonak CROS. It has raised my hearing capabilities to a new level. Not only can I hear better, it has none of the limitations I saw with the previous device.

The Phonak CROS system is very comfortable. It is suitable to wear in and outdoors. In addition, it has enhanced capabilities to connect to accessories, such as the ComPilot and TVLink S, which help me interact and communicate better.
