Newest Phonak hearing aid and FM loudspeaker awarded by international jury.
Stäfa, Switzerland (April 13, 2011) - The new luxurious hearing aid Phonak Audéo S SMART with high-tech Ceramic and the DigiMaster 5000 loudspeaker for enhanced speech intelligibility are the winners of two red dot design awards 2011.
The two Phonak products were awarded for outstanding product design by an international jury of 34 respected designers. The jury rated a total of 4.433 products from around 1.700 companies and 60 countries. Innovation, functionality, longevity, emotional content and ecological aspects were only some of the criteria taken into account. Only few of the contributions received a red dot design award, as the jury gives “the coveted quality label only to products that considerably outperform comparable products with their excellent design”.
This recognitions follow in line with the Audéo MINI, which was prized with a red dot design award last year. Moreover, Phonak hearing aids won other renowned design awards like the iF product design award and the GOOD DESIGN® award, which totals to more than ten awards since 2010. “This is a clear acknowledgement that Phonak hearing aids through our ongoing innovation are simply stylish, functional and robust,” concludes Phonak Acting CEO Alexander Zschokke.
