The building
Today, primarily R&D, Administration as well as the Sales and Marketing division are located in the older Longo building, opened in 1987. Exactly ten years later, with the new extension, the total surface area increased by about 130%. In the new Quadro building, each year more than 500'000 direct labour hours (hearing instruments, pre-assemblies, hybrids, parts) are performed. More than 780 employees originating from 44 different countries work at the Phonak technology center.
