inspiro is the first transmitter of its type to be based upon Phonak’s revolutionary Dynamic FM platform. This platform brings into play a range of industry-leading features that not only make inspiro easy to use, but fully manageable and capable of comprehensive data reporting.
Dynamic Speech Extractor
A full set of innovative features that boost the sound quality of Dynamic FM and inspiro way beyond that of traditional FM. Dynamic Speech Extractor includes for example, ‘Adaptive FM Advantage’ (AFMA), an algorithm that automatically adjusts the output of the listening FM receivers to ambient noise, and ‘intelligent voice activity detection’, which mutes the user’s receiver when the target speaker stops talking.
AutoConnect
Takes the technical hassle out of FM system set-up by automatically setting many of the parameters required to synchronize Dynamic FM receivers and Dynamic FM-specified hearing instruments.
DataLogging FM
This feature saves usage data for future reference and analysis by professional audiologists. This data includes the length of time the transmitter is worn, its use of audio inputs, details of receiver monitoring operations and more. This information can also be read on a PC using inspiro’s free FM SuccessWare software.
MultiTalker Network (MTN)
Expands inspiro’s functionality from being a single talker transmitter to one of several such devices. The MultiTalker Network allows two or more professionals working in a single class to transmit their speech to receiver-wearing children whenever they choose to speak, without having to change transmitter settings in any way.
Monitoring
Provides teachers, audiologists, speech therapists and parents with a reliable system check - allowing them to feel sure the inspiro Dynamic FM system is working faultlessly, without the need for extensive technical knowledge or know-how.
SoundCheck
Simultaneously measures speech and background noise levels, with the results shown in an easy-to-understand format on the inspiro display. The teacher benefits of this are two-fold: SoundCheck acts as a background noise warning system, plus it helps the teacher place the transmitter’s iLapel or iBoom microphone in the best possible position.

DynaMic
The DynaMic passaround microphone was designed to work exclusively alongside inspiro and enables students with a hearing loss to hear and understand everyone in class. Students simply hear the teacher’s words via inspiro and fellow pupils’ thoughts via DynaMic. DynaMic is a simple to use, durable device and is supplied with a detachable desk stand. more
